It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Roger Hanson Sr. of Denison, Texas, born in Hastings, Nebraska, who passed away on March 31, 2023, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Floyd Hanson and Martha Hanson; his wife Dolores Wilson Hanson; his siblings, Shirley Menasco and Floyd Hanson Jr.; and his brothers-in-law, Paul, Richard and John Wilson.

He is survived by: his sons, Dennis Mitchell (Vivian) and Roger Hanson, Jr. (Story). He is also survived by 5 grandchildren, and 20 great grandchildren.
