He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Leslie and Jimmie McDonald Minchew; his son Leslie Thomas Minchew; and his daughter-in-law Amanda Minchew (Lovell). He is survived by: his wife Leatrice Minchew; his sons, Lance Minchew (Michele) and Lane Minchew (Nicole); his brother James Minchew; his daughter-in-law Jenny Minchew; and his grandchildren, Amber Minchew, Timmy McMahan, Jeff Minchew, Kameron Sumrall, Jayme Russell, Kaitlin Bagwill, Shane Chase, Christina Bouldin, William Chase and Elizabeth Chase. He is also survived by 15 great grandchildren.
