He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Lee and Esther Mae Richard. He is survived by: his wife Nancy Lee Baecht Richard; and his children, Laura Moore (Richard) of Fort Worth, Texas, Sandra Langfels (James) of Denison, Texas, Debra Wilder (Dwayne) of Denison, Texas and Robert Gene Richard of Denison, Texas.. He is also survived by nine grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in his name to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.
