He was predeceased by: his parents, Rufus Ball and Dicie Caledonia Ball; and his brother Rufus Ball, Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Mary Ball; his sisters, Annie and Irene; and his children, Pam, Debbie, Mike, Jeff and Myra Lee West. He is also survived by nine grandchildren, and twenty great-grandchildren.
