It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Opal Marie Nichols of Denison, Texas, born in Sherman, Texas, who passed away on April 9, 2023, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Forrest and Aline Campbell; her former husband Holmes L. Nichols; her son Donald L. Nichols; and her sister Eleanor Mullins.
She is survived by: her husband Nick; her son James H. Nichols (Victoria) of Van Alstyne; and her grandchildren, Brian K. Nichols (Des) of Denison, Khristy M. Mathers (Erin) of Sherman and Alicia R. Elius (Raphael) of Van Alstyne. She is also survived by great great grandchildren, nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.
