He was predeceased by: his parents, George Fischer, Jr. and Peggy Lou Risinger Fischer; and his stepmother Norma King Patterson Fischer. He is survived by: his son David Fischer of Caddo, Texas; his siblings, Larry Fischer (Karen Fischer) of Brownwood, Texas, Lisa Fischer Howell (Jerry Howell) of Claude, Texas and Lori Fischer Mongold (Allan Mongold) of Canyon, Texas; his stepsiblings, Pat Patterson Ellison (Tom Ellison) of Austin, Texas and Mike Patterson (Joan Steinman) of Houston, Texas; and his stepchildren, Matthew Ware of Bedford, Texas and Libby Ware of Lubbock, Texas. He is also survived by his many nieces and nephews.
