He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest McDaniel and Annie McDaniel; his wife Nancy Joan Patton; his grandsons, Jaron Neans and Christopher Bell; and his brothers, Billy, Melton (Bookkeeping) of Mac's Tax, Johnny and Jimmy McDaniel.
He is survived by: his sister Annetta Evans of Swainsboro Georgia; his children, Belinda (J. R. Neans), Steven McDaniel of Soperton Georgia and Karen Derrick of Sherman; his grandchildren, Angie Derrick, Donald Bell, Adam Neans and Steven Neans; and his great grandchildren, Danny, Emry and AJ.
