She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Short and Lucy Short (Stapleton); her husband James "Buddy" Beasley; her daughter Linda D. Beasley; her granddaughter Kristin Beasley; and her siblings, Martha Sue Roberts and Lloyd Short.
She is survived by: her son Michael Beasley (Wendy) of Denison, TX; her grandchildren, Charles Beasley (Kim) of Denison, TX and Jennifer Waren of Denver, CO; her great grandchildren, Kamden Beasley, Landrie Beasley, Karah Haas and Abel Waren; her sister-in-law Dorothy Townsend; her close friends, Betty Bateman, Joy Bass, Mary Keeton and Judy Flippin; and her caregivers, Deborah, Beatrice, Roy, Sarah and Winnie. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in her name to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-9950.
