It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marinan Washburn (Denison, Texas), born in Savoy, Texas, who passed away on February 25, 2023, at the age of 100, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Claude Vernon Whiting and Audrey Nora Whiting (Fox); her husband Joseph E Washburn; her daughter Claudia Washburn Day; and her siblings, Buddy Whiting, Lora Byrd Whiting Tindall and Edith Jeanne Whiting Stroud.

She is survived by: her children, Nancy Trainor (James) of Denison and Richard Washburn (Vicki) of Denison; her grandchildren, Tara Trainor Campbell (Rodney) of Bells, Matt Washburn (Dava) of Bells, Adam Washburn (Lori) of Howe, Travis Trainor (Veronica) of Prosper and Ben Washburn (Kristen) of Bells; her great grandchildren, Ansley Campbell, Hailey Trainor, Reid Washburn, Sawyer Trainor and Georgia Washburn; her grandson Taylor Trainor; and her great grandchildren, Hayden Trainor, Holden Trainor, Peyton Washburn, Rendon Campbell, Carder Washburn, Barrett Washburn, Blevins Washburn and Baylon Washburn. She is also survived by nephews, nieces, cousins, and friends.
