He was predeceased by: his parents, Sarah Ledoah Van Hooser (McAllister) and William VanHooser; and his siblings, William Eldon VanHooser, Harley VanHooser, Charles Delane VanHooser, Eula Grace Walls, Alverta Wilson, Clotine "Tennie" Florence, Freda Goar and Maxine Dryden.
He is survived by: his wife Susan VanHooser of Ector, TX; his children, Kelly Sullenbarger (David) of Tyler, TX and Tony Earl Vanhooser (Amanda) of Van, TX; his grandchildren, Ashley Chryst (Ian) of North Carolina, Codi VanHooser and Travis VanHooser; and his great grandchild Marlee Wren Chryst. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Cooper-Sorrells Funeral Chapel (2022 N Center St, Bonham, TX 75418). A funeral service was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
