He is survived by: his parents, Larry William Ertel (Cindi Foster) and Annie Michelle Hauptmann; his grandmother Sallie Elaine Rankin Ertel; his great-grandparent Beatrice Beal; his grandparents, Eugene D. Hauptmann and Jean Beal; his sister Aslund Ertel Carson (William); his nieces, Serenity and Scarlett; his half-sisters, Chelsea, Chrissy Fisher and Sadie Spivey; his aunts, Karen and Ali Cox; and his uncle Randy Harmon. He is also survived by many other family members and friends.
