He was predeceased by: his parents, A. T. Ballard and Opal Flowers Ballard; his siblings-in-law, A. M. Davis Sr. and Genell Davis; and his son-in-law Robert Allen.
He is survived by: his brother Robert "Butch" Ballard (Fran); his former wife Janice Conner; his daughter Stacy Allen; his grandchildren, Nicholas Allen (Chelsea), Brittany Lehnertz (Preston), Kierston Allen and Amanda Allen; his daughter Tammy Scott (Roger); his grandchildren, Ryan Scott (Bayleigh), Jonathan Scott and Emily Scott; his wife Linda Davis Ballard; his daughter Kate Kelley (Ryan); and his granddaughters, Isabella Kelley, Lilly Kelley and Abby Kelley. He is also survived by grandchildren, and 14 great grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
