He was predeceased by : his parents, Jessie T Hawkins and Essie Bell Hawkins (Creel); his wife Tommie Sue Fields; and his grandchildren, Joshua, Jacob and Micah Hawkins.
He is survived by : his children, Judy Sue Hawkins and James Dale Hawkins; his grandchildren, James Garcia (Leigh Ann), Lucas Hawkins (Melissa) and Jessica Garcia; and his great grandchildren, Brianna, Deuce, Victoria, Lysell and Jax.
