He was predeceased by: his parents, James Marion (Buster) and Lorena Vion Culpepper (Ivy); his siblings, James Edward Culpepper (Jim), Merzon Culpepper (Merz), Baby Buster Culpepper, William Stephen Culpepper (Steve) and Dorothy Nell Worsham (Dottie); his former wife Violet Culpepper (Ward); and his daughter Sherry Olvera (Culpepper).
He is survived by: his wife Jenny Culpepper (Melton) of Denison, TX; his daughter Leann Ramsey (Michael) of Denison, TX; his grandchildren, Evan (DC Ramsey) of Cary and Erin (Brian Lilly); his great grandchild Brian Jr. of Cisco, TX; and his sisters, Martha Sue Hanning of Denison, TX and Sandra Mae Plummer (Sandy) of Farmers Branch, TX.. He is also survived by cousins, nieces, nephews, and lifelong friends.
