She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy Melton and Ruth Melton (Bridges); her siblings, Joe Melton, Peggy Jean Melton, Jimmy Melton, Royce Melton, Mac Melton and Linda Melton Clark; and her daughter Sherry Culpepper Olvera.

She is survived by: her spouse Jerry Culpepper; her siblings, Wayne Melton (Karen) of Whitesboro, Bill Melton of Hooks, Dorothy Slaten of Whitesboro and Ann Allred of Whitesboro; her daughter Leann Ramsey (Michael) of Denison; her grandchildren, Evan (DC Ramsey) of Denison and Erin (Brian Lilly); her great grandchild Brian Jr. of Brentwood, TN; her granddaughter Alexandra (Corey Thompson); her great grandchildren, Sienna and Oliver; and her sisters-in-law, Lydia Melton of Dallas, Linda Melton of Sherman, Sue Hanning of Denison and Sandy Plummer of Farmers Branch. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
