She was predeceased by: her parents, Curtis Curry and Laverne Curry; her sons, Joe David and Jimmy Don; her husband Joe Vernon Stephens; her son Scotty Sr.; her siblings, Jeanne Spencer, Patricia "Sissy" Johnson and Jimmy Curry; her grandson Curtis Stephens Jr.; and her son-in-law James Spivey Sr..
She is survived by: her daughter Kathy Spivey; her grandchildren, Lacy Pierce (John), Jodi Spivey, James Spivey (Kristy) and Holly McCollum (Bryan); her great grandchildren, Jordan, Little John Pierce, Roman Martinez, Jewel Sanchez, Kaiden Duke, Waylon and Bryson McCollum; and her brother Larry Curry (Debbie). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and close friends.
