He was predeceased by: his parents, John Brooks and Annie Bell Owens (Cantrell); his wife Carol Elizabeth Harkness; and his granddaughter Mikayla Testerman. He is survived by: his daughters, Kristen Testerman (James) of Denison and Melissa Welch (Robert) of Sherman, Texas; and his grandchildren, Ashlea Welch, Lynsey Basco and Kyle Gotcher (Maggie). He is also survived by six greatgrandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial may be made in his name to Trinity Lighthouse Building Fund, 2915 Spur 503, Denison, Texas 75020.
