He was predeceased by: his father Rufus Earl; and his brothers, Wilbert Lee Hestand and Kenneth Hestand. He is survived by: his wife Shirley Ann Griffith of Sherman; his children, Tony Hestand (Susie) of Ravenna, Phillip Hestand of Sherman, Gary Hestand (Lisa) of Austin, Texas and Debbie Harvey (Theo) of Whitewright, Texas; and his siblings, Jackie Turner and Jerry Hestand. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandchild.
