We are sad to announce that on April 6, 2025 we had to say goodbye to Earnest James Garland Jr. of Denison, Texas. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
Though Earnest may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Earnest touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Earnest Garland and Marie Garland (Thorn). He is survived by: his wife Sue Garland; his sons, Earnie Garland (Rhonda) of Colbert, OK, James Harwell, Taylor of Denison, TX, Kevin Harwell (Kristen) of Denison, TX and Randy Harwell (Amy) of Denison, TX; and his brother Joseph Garland (Dora) of Collinsville, TX. He is also survived by thirteen grandchildren four great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, April 11th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Fisher Funeral Home (604 W Main St, Denison, TX 75020).
