It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Drewey D. McKnight Jr. of Denison, Texas, who passed away at the age of 99, on December 31, 2024. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his wife Jewel Adams McKnight; and his parents, Drewey McKnight, Sr. and Carrie McKnight. He is survived by: his children, Pamela Kay McKnight Polk of Sherman and Steven Adams McKnight of Sherman; his caregiver Ben W. Polk of Sherman; his grandson Ben Steven Polk (Kim) of Farmers Branch; his great grandchildren, James D. Polk and Ben Rey Polk of Farmers Branch; his siblings, James McKnight, Leslie McKnight, William McKnight, Georgia Jones, Glenda Washington and Gloria Champion; and also Herschel Brown. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Sunday, January 12th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Waldo Funeral Home (619 N Travis St, Sherman, TX 75090). A funeral service was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Parkside Baptist Church (301 N Lillis Ln, Denison, TX 75020). A burial was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 at the Cedarlawn Memorial Park (5805 Texoma Pkwy, Sherman, TX 75090).
