With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Douglas Andrew Nowlin of Denison, Texas, born in Tacoma, Washington, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 7, 2024 at the age of 68. He was predeceased by: his parents, William Nowlin and Mary Nowlin of Ivanhoe, Texas.; and his brother Danny Nowlin. He is survived by: his wife Denice Miers of Denison, Texas.; his children, David Nowlin (Angela) of Celina and Dana Funk (Travis) of Denison, Texas.; his siblings, Belinda Nowlin of Bonham and Keith Nowlin (Johnna) of Sherman, Texas.; and his grandsons, Matthew, Joshua, Caleb Nowlin, Jagger and Cooper Funk.
Visitation was held on Thursday, December 12th 2024 from 5:30 PM to 6:30 PM at the Fisher Funeral Home (604 W Main St, Denison, TX 75020). A funeral service was held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting memorials to be made to Home Hospice of Grayson County and/or the Alzheimer's Association.
