He was predeceased by: his parents, Tommie Walton Meek and Wenell Reed Meek. He is survived by: his sister Velma Kay Walley; his children, Joel Don Meek (Vicky) of San Diego, Breane Kelsye Meek (Tammy Bevers Ojeda) of Wataugak and Katrina Michelle Sykes (Hakeem) of Denison; his grandchildren, Sloan Meek, Karsyn Reed Sykes, Shannon Tucker, Alex Warnell and Dominic Ojeda; and his nieces, Stacey Grantland and Sherra Fritts. He is also survived by great-great-nieces and nephews and cousins.
