He was predeceased by: his parents, Price Keith Tarbet and Ethel Tarbet; his former wife Faye; and his brothers, Joe Tarbet (Jerry) and Sam Tarbet (Linda).

He is survived by: his siblings, Lynn, Bob (Sam) and Nelda Lampe (Ruth Beardon); his wife Jewel Thompson Tarbet; his children, Perry Tarbet and Patti Irwin (Bill); his grandsons, Don (Amanda), Rick (Laura), Ashton (Stevi) and Zack; his great grandchildren, Phillip, Joseph, Charles, Savage, Tinley, Adaline and Jaxon; his extended family, Debbie Soechting (Toby), Joanie Grady (Andy), Donna Thompson and Steve Thompson (Dawnette); his grandchildren, Kelly Grady Bagwell (James), Vince Grady, Dustin Soechting (Beth), Preston Soechting (Emma), Brandon Thompson (Lindsay), Jesse Brin and Trinity Thompson; and his great grandchildren, Bodhi Bagwell, Kaden Thompson, Natalie Thompson, Ellie Jane Soechting, Quentin Soechting, Vivian Soechting and Arthur Soechting. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
