With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Clifford Powell of Denison, Texas, who passed away on September 10, 2023 at the age of 70. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Horace Clifford Powell Sr. and Helen Marr Powell; his wife Dena Maples Powell; his children, Michael Powell of Sherman, Meagan Purkey (Dave) of Denison, Jenny Powell of Denison and Lindsay Powell of Denison; his grandchildren, Bradlee Smith, Kellan Kirk, Ranger Friedman and Logan Powell; his brother Jim Powell (Becky) of Flowermound; his nieces and nephews, Bethany Weston (Matt), Caleb, Issac, Julia Meredith, Jacob, Benjamin Powell and Steve Maples (Sandy); his great-nephew Alex Maples; and his nephew David Maples of Denison. He was also cherished by numerous cousins, aunts, and uncles.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to Parkside Baptist Church Children's and Student Ministries.
