She was predeceased by: her parents, Streamy Love and Mary Louise Holmes. She is survived by: her husband Goodson Scruggs; and her daughter Kimberly Edmondson. She is also survived by loving sister, along with a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, February 12th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Waldo Funeral Home (619 N Travis St, Sherman, TX 75090). A funeral service was held on Thursday, February 13th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Mt. Olive Baptist Church (1131 S Scullin Ave, Denison, TX 75020). A burial was held on Thursday, February 13th 2025 at the Fairview Cemetery (1501 TX-91, Denison, TX 75020).
