He was predeceased by: his parents, Clark Garner and Juanita "Nita" Garner; and his grandparents, Orville, Addie Garner, Willis and Willie Mae Ballard.
He is survived by: his wife Judith "Judy" Malolepszy Garner; his children, Lynn Garner McIntosh (Jeff) of McKinney and Todd Garner (Tracy) of Denison; his grandchildren, Tiffany Garner Fairbrother (Luke) of Plano, Nicole McIntosh Callis (Kenneth) of McKinney, Taylor Garner of Denison, Toby Garner of Denison and Trevor McIntosh of McKinney; his great grandchildren, Addison, Demi Jackson of Denison, Tatum Callis of McKinney and Theodore Garner of Denison; his brother James Garner (Mary Ann) of Georgia; his aunt Thelma Garner McDonald of Irving; his nephews, Doug, Clay (Lauren) and Scott Garner of Georgia; his niece Michelle Wells of Sherman; and his close friend Don England of Denison.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to The American Heart Association or the SPCA.
