She was predeceased by: her parents, J. O. Sterling and Lydia Sterling (Douglas); and her husband Sam Wilson. She is survived by: her children, Suzie Sommerfeldt (Chris) of Sherman and Sam Wilson, Jr. (Donna) of Flower Mound; her grandchildren, Carrie Evans (Paul) of Pilot Point, Sara Coleman (Chris) of Flower Mound, Meredith Bird (Jordan) of Aiken, S. C. and Melanie Greer (Gavin) of Flower Mound; and her stepgrandchildren, Shelley Rios (Dan) of San Antonio and Craig Sommerfeldt (Casey) of Fort Worth. She is also survived by 14 great grandchildren.
