He was predeceased by: his parents, Clyde Lee Ramsey and Ruby Lorine Pritchard Ramsey; and his siblings, Jean Beavers, Carol Turnbull, Rosemary Huseman, Jeannie Ramsey, Bill, Terry Shelby, Dale Beavers and Kenneth Shepherd.

He is survived by: his wife Jimmie Carol Shelby Ramsey; his children, Kenneth (Donna) and Kimberly Odell (Robert); and his siblings, Harold Ramsey, Les (Debbie), Steve Shelby (Denise), Jennifer Key (Steve), Eileen Washington and Darlene Shepherd. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
