She was predeceased by: her husband Fred Powell; and her siblings, Guy Cox, Walter Cox, Peggy Brewer and Wanda Hawkins.
She is survived by: her sons, Bobby Lee Powell (Joyce), Donnie Ray Powell (Nadine) and Ronnie Dale Powell (Shannon); and her sister Carolyn White.
