He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Perry T. "Pat" Sethaler and Susan Margaret Doherty Sethaler; his daughters, Deborah Anne and Valerie Maureen (Jay) of Texas; his wife Patricia Ann Lawrence; his sister Gretchen Sethaler of Colorado; his children, Debbi Ferchau (Hugo) of Colorado and Brian Sethaler (Steffanie) of Texas; and his grandchildren, Melita Helen Ferchau, Kylee Ann McLeod, Audrey Mae Sethaler, Shelby Lynn Sethaler, Kaitlyn Perry McLeod and Brendon James Sethaler.
