It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Anthony Joe Latona of Denison, Texas, who passed away on April 19, 2023, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Phillip Latona and Martha Latona (Sinor); his sisters, Rose Mary Belcher and Lexie Birt; and the mother of his children Charlotte Williams.
He is survived by: his children, Dish, Diana Latona-Meador (Tim) of Denison and JoAnna Latona-Brown (Clint) of Era; his grandchildren, Ashley Drake (Jeff), Sam King (Ashley Yeary), Heather Welper (Calvin) and Derrik Meador; his great grandchildren, Jett Drake, Brynli Smith, Emily Meador, Timothy McKay Meador and Elijah Meador; his brother Patrick Latona (LoAnn) of Calera, OK; his brothers-in-law, Johnny Belcher of Kemp, OK and Kenneth Birt of Indiana; his niece LaNell Latona of Sherman; and his roping horses, Gun Smoke and Jet. He is also survived by friends and roping partners.
