She was predeceased by: her parents, Ted Schirmer and Ellen Schirmer; her husband Robert Stratton; and her brothers, Jon and Ted Schirmer Jr..
She is survived by: her daughter Michelle Nelson (Jeff); her brother Mike Schirmer (Phyllis); her grandchildren, Cody Hughes of Denison, Chase Hughes of Denison, Jonathan Brewer (JT) of Denison and Nick Brewer of Denison; and her great grandchildren, Faith Gullett, Serenity Gray, Damian Hughes and Jameson Hughes.
Visitation was held on Thursday, November 7th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Fisher Funeral Home (604 W Main St, Denison, TX 75020). A funeral service was held on Friday, November 8th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Fisher Funeral Home Chapel (604 W Main St, Denison, TX 75020).
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made in her name to the Michael J Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Research.
