With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Anna Margaret Hunter of DeLeon, Texas, who passed away on September 2, 2020 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Leo Meyer and Sarah Rebecca Skeans; her stepmother Esther Meyer; her siblings, William Ray Meyer, Wayne Douglas Meyer, George Leo Meyer, Claude Eugene Meyer, Isla Mae Hobbs and Frances Lee Hogan; her children, Daryl Wayne Hunter and Carol Gale Cochran; her grandchildren, Thomas Marlin McWhorter, Jr. and Mary Kay Hunter; and her great grandchild Hannah Sue McWhorter.
She is survived by: her former spouse Finley Manfred Proffer; her husband James Audrey Hunter; and her children, Harold (Dianne Hunter), Sammie (Dale Hunter), Finley R. (Virginia Proffer) and Darlene (Frank Gaitan). She is also survived by 16 grandchildren and many great and great, great grandchildren.
