He was predeceased by: his parents, Delfino Gonzales and Mercedes G. Gonzales; his wife Rebecca R. Gonzales; his children, Louis Charles Renteria, Robert Gonzales, Dolores Gonzales and Vera Gonzales; and his siblings, Martin Gonzales, Juan Gonzales, Heremenegildo Gonzales, Valente Gonzales, Justo Rodriguez, Chilo Rodriguez, Mercedes Rodriguez, Domitila Gonzales, Juliana Gonzales, Hesequio Gonzales and Bibiano Gonzales.
He is survived by: his daughters, Irene Mata (Jorge Iruegas) and Charmaine Gonzales (Eliberto Delgadillo). He is also survived by 25 grandchildren; 68 great grandchildren, and 80 great-great grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins, and many other loving family members and friends.
