He is survived by: his wife Celia Mellott; his children, John Mellott (Amanda Mellott) of Del Rio, Patty McCourt (James McCourt) of Del Rio and Sam Mellott (Georgia Mellott) of San Antonio; and his grandchildren, Joshua, Monique, Shannon, Aaron, Justin, Robert, Sarah, Sammy, Bethany and William. He is also survived by numerous great grandchildren and other relatives.
