He is survived by: his wife Maria Dolores Vargas (Nee Verastegui); his children, Rosie Salazar, Victor, Velma, Dario Vargas and Dino Vargas; his stepchildren, Albert, Ernie and Magen; and also Ruben Herrera. He is also survived by many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
