He was predeceased by: his parents, José Sorola Sr. and Feliz Torres; his wife Harriet Sorola; and his brother Manuel Sorola of Lamesa. He is survived by: his children, David Sorola of Del Rio, Edward Sorola, Michael Sorola of Keller, Anthony Sorola of Lamesa, Christine Sorola of Lamesa, Catherine Sorola of Livingston, Felicia Freeman of Austin and Jessica Sorola-Jasso of Corpus Christi, Texas.; and his siblings, José Zorola, Jr. of Lamesa, Eugenio Sorola of Lamesa, Jaime Sorola of Lamesa, Juanita Reyes and Maria Sorola of Del Rio, Texas.. He is also survived by grandchildren and a large, extended family.
