As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Sylvia may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Jorge Alarcon and Francisca Alarcon. She is survived by: her children, Jose Alfredo Jaquez (Angelica), Luis Angel Jaquez (Monica) and Reyes Jaquez (Andrea); her brother Jorge Alarcon (Martina); and her grandchildren, Arale Amelia Jaquez and Reyes Jaquez Jr.. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Sunset Memorial (2020 N Bedell Ave, Del Rio, TX 78840). A Mass was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church (509 W Garza St, Del Rio, TX 78840).
