He was predeceased by: his parents, Isabel Perez and Santiaga Perez; and his sisters, Irma Rodriguez and Josefina Martinez. He is survived by: his wife Elia; his sons, Ruperto Perez Jr. (Maria Perez) and Homero Perez (Jessica Perez); his grandchildren, Dustin Perez, Adriana Duarte, Middian Perez and Ian Perez; and his siblings, Miguel Perez and Minerva Martinez.
