She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Russell Hoover and Sarah Hoover; her sisters, June Dodson and Linda Ramsey; her son Dennis "Dusty" Slubar Jr.; her grandson Bryan Slubar; her husband Dennis Slubar Sr.; her brother Ben Hoover; her children, Dawn Shewbart, Richard Slubar, Dustin Slubar (Emily Slubar) and Rose Garza (Mario Garza); and her grandchildren, Joseph, Matthew, Brittany, Austin, Bryce and Tanner. She was also cherished by her 8 great-grandchildren.
