He was predeceased by: his parents, Juan Zuniga and Lorenza Zuniga; his siblings, Jose Zuniga and Catalina Limones; and his nephews, Roger Hernandez and Javier Antonio Garza.

He is survived by: his siblings, Carmen Zuniga, Sophia Z. Barrera and Gabriel Zuniga of Del Rio, TX.. He is also survived by his children, grandchildren, and numerous nephews, and nieces.
