He was predeceased by: his wife Juana E. Velaquez; and his siblings, Olivia Deleon, Diana Patricia Deleon and Fidencio Velasquez Deleon. He is survived by: his daughters, Juanita V. Velasquez of Del Rio and Ofelia Velasquez of Fort Worth, Texas; and his grandchildren, Devanni Suarez and James Alexander Mello. He is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
