We are sad to announce that on January 17, 2022, at the age of 78, Ricardo S. Veliz (Del Rio, Texas) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Francisca Veliz and Marcelino Veliz; his daughter Chavell Veliz Gutierrez; and his siblings, Frank Velasquez Sr., Hector Veliz and Teresa Veliz Navarro.

He is survived by: his wife Ramona Veliz of Del Rio; his children, Maricela V. Rivera (Fructoso Rivera III) of Del Rio and Ricardo Veliz Jr. (Maricela Flores Veliz) of Del Rio; and his grandchildren, Guillermo Ricardo Veliz, Cassidy Rivera, Basilio Gutierrez Jr., Mariah Rivera, Savannah Guterrez Mukeli, Sharon Veliz, Joshua Veliz and Evelyn Veliz. He is also survived by six great grandchildren and other relatives.
