He was predeceased by: his parents, Ventura Arredondo (Irene Menchaca) and Armandina Arredondo. He is survived by: his wife Luz Menchaca; his children, Alicia Norwood, Rosalba Menchaca, Ana Menchaca, Reggie Menchaca and Sarah Wurmstein; his grandchildren, Anjy Norwood, Eliana Fox, Gideon Wurmstein, Astrid Wurmstein and Freya Wurmstein; his great grandchildren, Evie Norwood-Vega, Aurelie Norwood-Vega and Gianna Fox; and his siblings, Letty Flores and Arturo Menchaca.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 6th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Sunset Memorial (2020 N Bedell Ave, Del Rio, TX 78840). A prayer was held on Monday, January 6th 2025 at 6:30 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Tuesday, January 7th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Sunset Memorial Oaks Cemetery (5144 US-90, Del Rio, TX 78840).
