It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Refugia Rebecca Gonzalez (Del Rio, Texas), who passed away on November 23, 2023, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Sir Santiago "Jimmy" Gonzalez; her parents, Refugio Herrera and Dolores Rodriguez; her adoptive mother Luz Rodriguez Robles; and her siblings, Edmundo Trevino, Armando of Leon, Ninfa Guzman and Maria Medina.
She is survived by: her children, Linda Guanajuato-Webb (Steven), Jimmie Gonzalez (Romy), Rolando Gonzalez (Giny) and Leo Gonzalez (Jamie); her grandchildren, Clarissa Gonzalez-Rangel (Jack), Joel Gonzalez (Olivia), Yvette Willsher (Martyn), Denise Mikulas (Joey) and Angelyn Telles; her great grandchildren, Jacob Nikolas Castellanos, Garrett Rangel, Ivan Rangel, Gracie Willsher, Hannah Willsher, Joel Rey Gonzalez, Caleb Frnka, Aron Gonzalez, Carson Frnka, Leah Willsher, Aiden Telles, Ellie Gonzalez, Aurora Telles, Noah Willsher, Ryan Gonzalez, Alexander Gonzalez, Micah Galvan, Dylan Mikulas and Luke Gonzalez; and her sister-in-law Lydia De Leon.
