She was predeceased by: her son Enrique Salas; her daughter-in-law Andrea Salas; and her sister Maria (Cuca) of Refugio. She is survived by: her children, Maria Escalante (Manuel Escalante) and Jesus Salas. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren (1 deceased), 18 great-grandchildren, and 27 great-great-grandchildren.
