She was predeceased by: her husband James Benny Nowlin; her parents, Dolores Valero and Francisco Cobos; and her siblings, Doraelia and Francisco Cobos.
She is survived by: her sister Rosa Elva (Ramiro Oropeza); her children, Sarah (Hector Forestier), Richard (Cristina Nowlin) and James Nowlin; and her grandchildren, Suzette, Mark Williams, Melissa, Aaron Rocha, Michelle Forestier, Lauren, Guadalupe Alcala Jr., Ryan Nowlin, Benjamin Nowlin and Camryn Nowlin. She is also survived by five great-grandchildren and her many nephews and nieces.
