She was predeceased by: her son John David Thornburg; and her parents, Marshall Curtis Stewart and Francis Aline Thomas Stewart. She is survived by: her husband Larry C. Thornburg; her daughter Mary L. Wells (Hank Strickland); her siblings, Leon Stewart (Donnie), Jim Stewart (Helen) and Martha Stewart; and her extended family, Eufaula Hester, Nelson, McCann, Key and Wells.
