She is survived by: her husband Eric Cortland Carlson; her children, Karen Carlson Unrein (Terry) and Keith Eric Carlson (Jennifer); her grandchildren, Jack, Ben and Caroline; and her brother Richard Green (Elssa).

In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations to the Alzheimer's Foundation of America at alzfdn.org.
