We bid farewell to Lupe Roman of Del Rio, Texas, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on February 21, 2025 at the age of 90. As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Lupe may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.
She was predeceased by: her husband Jose I. Roman; and her son Mario Roman. She is survived by: her children, Yolanda Celedon (Ernesto), Teri Balderas (Alex), Jim Roman (Eloisa), Joe Roman (Maggie) and Rick Roman (Laura). She is also survived by grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces, nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, February 24th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Sunset Memorial (2020 N Bedell Ave, Del Rio, TX 78840). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Tuesday, February 25th 2025 at the Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church (509 W Garza St, Del Rio, TX 78840).
